Current Teaching
I teach on a number of courses in the Department of History, RHUL. This includes the oral history module of the MA in Public History (The Voice of the Public: Oral History in Public History) and the undergraduate course From blood and guts to the worried well: medicine in modern Britain.
I'm also interested in supervising PhDs in the oral history of health, welfare and medicine as well as public history.
Current Training
I'm a member of the Trainers' Committee of the Oral History Society. The Society has developed a training programme in association with the British Library's Sound Archive. The programme includes four one-day couces. More details can be found on the Oral History Society's web pages. In addition we offer taiored training support to groups and instituations.
also organise and deliver the Welcome Trust's Oral History of Medicine course.
