The management of health care resources has become a major concern in most of the developed economies. The Health Care Management Research Group was set up in September 1997 in the School of Management at Royal Holloway with the remit to further research in the health care field. The members of this group are Chris Howorth (research group coordinator) Prof. Charles Harvey and Prof. Jane Broadbent. The research activities of the group are in the fields of accounting, health care system organisation, management of change in health care provision and governance of health care providers.
