This page contains links to the works refered to in my essay "An Assessment of the web-based material available for the writing of history on the The Terror in the French Revolution, compared to the printed resources available at Royal Holloway University of London". The website will also provide a bibliography for my essay, and will also give hotlinks in order for others to be able to assess the websites on the Terror in the French Revolution.

Primary Source Material

The Primary Source Material on the Terror in the French Revolution was by far easier to locate on the Internet, than by looking through several volumes of work in the library.

• War, Terror and Resistence: Provides quotes, clear pictures and good links.
• The French Revolution, The Radical Stage 1792-1794 Updated October 13th 2002, good links, illustrations and gives an in-depth view of the Terror.
• The French Revolution: The Reign Of Terror Gives magazine and newspaper links, also set out in clear sections. Updated 2003.
• Links On The French Revolution A wide variety of links available, provides a basic introduction, followed by more in-depth information. Good illustrations.
• Reign Of Terror Very clear website, with a supporting bibliography, and also a useful search engine. Updated 2002, Columbia University Press.
• French Revolution 1789 Very well presented information, good links and illustrations. Provides a search engine, updated 2nd January 2002.
• The Reign Of Terror You are able to see the works consulted to make the site. Also very good pictures and links.
