Reference Requests for Postgraduate Study:

I would be happy to write Economics students under the following conditions:

1 – References are submitted electronically or I post them to the admissions office for the student.

2 – Students provide me with a copy of their CV, personal statement and list of universities/courses they are applying to.

3 – If students took any course I taught, they had good attendance, otherwise it will be stated that they had poor attendance on the reference.

4a – I will only write a reference for them after I have received a request from the university or been given the form by the student

4b – once I have the request/form, references can take up to two weeks for me to write, my personal advisees will get priority.

5 – if I believe that you are unsuitable for a programme, then I may state that on your reference letter

6 – please inform me about the decisions made by the universities so I can advise students in future
